Mysuru court blast: Three Al Qaeda-linked terrorists get 10, 5 yrs jail
Accused Nainar Abbas Ali @ Library Abbas will undergo rigorous imprisonment for seven years and simple imprisonment for another three years. He shall also be liable to pay a fine of Rs 43,000 for the offences, the release by NIA said. Sulaiman has also been awarded rigorous imprisonment for seven years and simple imprisonment for another three years and shall also be liable to pay a fine of Rs 38,000.
NIA carries out raids across Kashmir Valley, 70 detained
The raids are still going on at nine locations in Srinagar, Anantnag, Kulgam, and Baramulla as part of its probe, according to sources. Several stone pelters and anti-India elements have been detained and are being questioned, they said.
NIA carries out multiple raids involving cross LoC trade

Additional Solicitor General S.V. Raju, representing NIA, submitted before a bench comprising Justices S. Abdul Nazeer and A.S. Bopanna that Majeed was a terrorist who went to Syria, and he initially went to Iraq in May, 2014 on a pilgrimage visa but left for Syria to join IS. Raju added that Majeed came back to the country to carry out blasts at police headquarters and he was also allegedly trying to recruit Indians as well as non-residents to join the terrorist organisation for carrying out activities.

The NIA statement comes in the draft charges filed in the twin cases against 16 arrested accused and six other absconders in the sensational cases that have rocked the Indian polity for the past four years.As per the NIA, the accused had "recruited students from various universities, including the reputed Jawaharlal Nehru University (New Delhi) and Tata Institute of Social Sciences (Mumbai).

NIA takes over probe into propagation of Jihadi terrorism by Bangladeshi nationals
The case was earlier registered in West Bengal's Kolkata on July 10 this year under several sections of the IPC and Foreigners Act. The official said that the case relates to Bangladeshi nationals S.K. Shabbir, Joseph and others, who had illegally entered India and were sympathisers or members of terrorist organisations.
Terror funding case: NIA team arrests several persons in Kashmir
The NIA team along with Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF raided several places in Anantnag and Srinagar districts in connection with the case registered 10 days ago relating to the radicalisation in the Indian subcontinent. Besides, NIA, Intelligence Bureau, RAW (Research and Analysis Wing), and the Jammu and Kashmir Police were jointly involved in the search operations.
NIA arrests narcotics trafficker in HM narco terror case
An NIA spokesperson said the agency has arrested Gurjant Singh alias Ashish Gattu, a resident of Amritsar, on Monday. The official said he was produced before an NIA court and sent to four days' custody of the agency. He said that during probe it was revealed that Gurjant Singh is a drug trafficker and was a close associate of the charge-sheeted accused persons in the case.
NIA arrests SDPI member in 2020 Bengaluru riots case
An NIA spokesperson said that Abbas, a resident of Bengaluru, was arrested for his involvement in the conspiracy and rioting on August 11 last year at K.G. Halli police station area, after it was found that he heads the SDPI in the Nagawara ward. Abbas was produced before a special NIA court in Bengaluru, which sent him to six days NIA custody.
