UGC NET December 2022: NTA fixes upper age limit | All you need to know

According to the NTA, they have been receiving a few representations from the applicants for fixing the last date to calculate the age limit to apply for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). The Official notice says that “The National Eligibility Test (NET) Bureau of University Grants Commission (UGC) (vide Letter No.4- 1/2019 (NET/NTA) dated 02 January 2023) has requested the NTA to fix the upper age limit for applying for JRF as 01.12.2022 instead of 01.02.2023”.

According to the schedule released by UGC Chief, CUET-PG examination will be organized from 1st of June till 10th of June 2023. M. Jagadesh Kumar Tweeted “Great opportunity for students to try for admission to multiple universities in post-graduate programmes using the CUET-PG score”.

Applicants should know that the JNUEE admit card would not be sent by post so the NTA Advises them to keep a copy saved with them in proper condition for future reference. DU Admissions 2022: NTA releases DUET answer key, check out details here

According to the notification, students can challenge the provisional DUET answer key 2022, if they are not satisfied with the answer. However, a sum of Rs 200 per question challenged, needs to be paid as a non-refundable processing fee. The Challenges will be accepted only through the website. Candidates can raise their objections till 5 PM of November 11 and have time till 11:50 pm of November 11 to make payment for the objections.

The CSIR NET 2021 exam was conducted in the Computer Based Test(CBT) mode, from 16 to 18 September 2022, in two shifts i.e. morning and evening. The exams were held at 306 centres across 166 cities. The answer key of the exam was released on October 1, later the students were given a chance to raise objections.

Eligible candidates can check their answer key at the official website - ugcnet.nta.nic.in. It is important to note that candidates who wish to challenge the answer key can raise their objections before October 20, 5 PM. Candidates are required to pay a sum of Rs 200 per answer challenged, to be paid online by 11:50 pm on October 20. Once the candidate raises their objection and challenges a question, it will then be verified by the panel of subject experts.

Eligible candidates can download their hall ticket from the official website - ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Registered candidates would be required to enter their application number and date of birth to have access to their account for hall tickets. The UGC NET exam will be held in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Candidates are required to carry their admit card with them at the time of examination, as no one will be allowed to enter the examination hall without showing their hall tickets.

Once the results are out, candidates can check their results on the official website- cuet.nta.nic.in. The announcement of CUET PG 2022 results was made by the University Grants Commission (UGC) Chief, M Jagadesh Kumar, on September 25 via his Twitter handle. Earlier on September 24, NTA released the final answer key of the CUET PG 2022 exam, while the provisional answer key was released on September 16.

Rajasthan’s Tanishka has topped the medical entrance exam with a 99.9997733 percentile score. A total of 993069 students have passed the exam. However, Tanishka was declared the all-India topper through the tie-breaker method. “Candidates who scored identical marks are accorded ranks as per the tie-breaker rule where the candidate with higher marks in biology is ranked above the rest. In the case of identical marks in biology, the same rule is applied for chemistry followed by physics. Even after this, if the scores remain identical, the elder candidate gets the higher rank,” a NTA official said.
NEET UG Results 2022: When, where, and how to check your score

Once the results are out, candidates can check their results on the official website - neet.nta.nic.in or at the NTA website as well -  nta.ac.in. Earlier on August 31, 2022, NTA released the answer key for the NEET UG 2022 exam. Along with the answer key, NTA also released the OMR sheet. If a candidate finds any discrepancy in the answer key/ recorded response, he/she is allowed to raise the objection and challenge it up to 02 September 2022 (up to 11:50 P.M.) However, a non-refundable fee of Rs200 per question was charged.
