US announces largest weapons package for Ukraine
According to a breakdown by the Department of Defense (DoD), items in the newly-announced package include six additional National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems (NASAMS) with additional munitions for NASAMS, up to 245,000 rounds of 155mm artillery ammunition, up to 65,000 rounds of 120mm mortar ammunition, up to 24 counter-artillery radars, Puma Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and support equipment for Scan Eagle UAS systems, "Vampire" counter-UAS systems, as well as laser-guided rocket systems, Xinhua news agency reported.
Ukraine demands more weapons from Germany as thousands show support

Traces of Botulinum toxin Type B, which is an "organic poison of artificial origin," have been discovered in samples taken from the servicemen, the ministry said, accusing Kiev of "chemical terrorism", RT reported. The Russian troops were "hospitalized with signs of severe poisoning" after being stationed near the village of Vasilyevka in Zaporozhye Region on July 31, the statement said, RT reported.

At least 12 civilians were killed in Russian strikes on residential areas of the city on Wednesday, the ministry wrote in its latest intelligence update on Twitter. It noted that Kharkiv is within range of most Russian artillery types, reports dpa news agency. Russian air force fires at Crimean city, explosions reported
The port city is the gateway to an 18-km bridge that links Crimea to Russia, dpa news agency reported on Friday. Ukraine has labelled the bridge, built in 2018, as a legitimate target in its bid to force the Russians out of their lands. "There is no danger for the city or the bridge," Oleg Kryuchkov, an adviser to Crimea's Russian leaders, said on Telegram.
