She reminded that the BJP had managed to defeat the Congress under her leadership in 2003 and since then the party has been in power (except for 15 months of the Kamal Nath-led Congress government). "It may be that BJP leaders would feel nervous because of my presence.If I would the there, then entire public attention will be on me," Bharti said without taking name of any party leader.

The senior Congress leader also held the police responsible for Ahirwar's murder, saying had the police taken unbiased action on the complaint registered by his sister Archana in 2019, her brother "would have been alive today on Rakshabandhan". 

Jatav was one of the Congress MLAs who switched to the BJP to support Scindia in March 2020. Jatav had later contested a by poll on BJP ticket. However, he lost the elections to the Congress' Mevaram Jatav in November 2021. This time, the BJP has picked Lal Singh Arya as its nominee from Gohad assembly seat. 

A day after  former Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Digvijaya Singh said Bajrang Dal would be banned in MP (if the Congress forms the government), state Home Minister Narottam Mishra took a jibe at the Congress leaders.

The Chief Minister promised to ensure economic growth, connectivity improvement, employment in the public sector, urbanisation and a lot more by 2030. Chouhan led the BJP government has set over 25 points resolutions to achieve the targets to ensure and to fulfil the promises made to the people of the state till Independence Day in 2030.

Kamal Nath said that Arjun Singh told him that he has already spoken to Indira Gandhi and Sanjay Gandhi. “He told me I am not seeking your permission just instructing you to get ready to content Lok Sabha election,” Kamal Nath said while launching a book titled ‘Vindhya Ki Beti: Muhawaro Se Jhalakti Mamta’. The book is dedicated to Arjun Singh’s wife Saroj Singh.

Alok Sharma made this alleged remark while addressing a convention of BJP workers at Jaora in Ratlam district. A purported video has gone viral on social media, in which Sharma could be seen asking the public to turn off their phone cameras before starting his speech.

Addressing the gathering of BJP workers and saints gathering there from different parts of the state, the Prime Minister said the temple will be completed in the next one-and-a-half years. "Today I got the opportunity to lay the foundation for Sant Ravidas' temple and I believe that he will give me the opportunity to inaugurate the same when it is completed in the next one-and-a-half years," PM Modi said.

The party's decision to deploy five leaders to lead the campaign is seen as a major blow to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who solely led the Yatra in 2018. According to sources, the BJP has decided to take out five yatras from different parts of the state. These yatras will be started in September. 

Tension prevailed after some people on Monday attempted to remove the 'Gurjar' title prefixed with Mihir Bhoj's name inscripted on a plinth of a life-size statue of the king in Gwalior. The statue was installed by Gwalior Municipal Corporation at Chirwai block in the city back in 2019.
