She reminded that the BJP had managed to defeat the Congress under her leadership in 2003 and since then the party has been in power (except for 15 months of the Kamal Nath-led Congress government). "It may be that BJP leaders would feel nervous because of my presence.If I would the there, then entire public attention will be on me," Bharti said without taking name of any party leader.

Row over Mihir Bhoj's legacy escalates in poll-bound MP

Tension prevailed after some people on Monday attempted to remove the 'Gurjar' title prefixed with Mihir Bhoj's name inscripted on a plinth of a life-size statue of the king in Gwalior. The statue was installed by Gwalior Municipal Corporation at Chirwai block in the city back in 2019.
