ITC reports strong growth momentum across operating segments for quarter, year ended March 2023

Together with the interim dividend of Rs 6 per share paid on March 3, total dividend for the financial year ended March 31, 2023 amounts to Rs 15.50 per share (FY22: Rs 11.50 per share). The company said that strong growth momentum sustained across operating segments.

The company's board declared an interim dividend of Rs 6 per share for FY24. According to ITC, for the quarter ended December 31, 2022 it had earned an operational revenue of Rs 17,265.48 crore (Q3FY22, Rs 16,806.89 crore) and a net profit of Rs 5,031.01 crore (Rs 4,156.20 crore).
ITC books PAT of Rs 4,466 crore for Q2

During the period under review, the company had earned an operational revenue of Rs 16,971.18 crore (Rs 13,356.15 crore in Q2FY22) and a net profit of Rs 4,466 crore (Rs 3,697.18 crore). Economic activity continued to gather momentum during the quarter along with improvement in business and consumer sentiments, the company said. However, input prices remained elevated even as some commodities witnessed softening in the course of the quarter.
Powered by strong Q1 growth, ITC stock hits a three-year high

On Monday, Sanjiv Puri led ITC reported a 38 per cent year-on-year (YoY) growth in its consolidated net profit which stood at Rs 4,169 crore, as compared to Rs 3,013 crore last crore. The company's net sales too saw a 41 per cent spike and stood at Rs 18,164 crore, while EBITDA was up 41.5 per cent on Y-o-Y basis. According to ITC, a strong performance by all business segments is responsible for the Q1 growth.
ITC records 3x growth in e-commerce sales as compared to pre-pandemic levels

In its recently released annual report, the company revealed that it collaborated with leading e-commerce platforms on all aspects of operations, including category development, marketing, and supply chain and customer acquisition. For the current year, the ITC Board has recommended an Interim Dividend of Rs 5.25 per share for the financial year ending 31st March 2022. For 2020-21, the company's board had approved a final dividend of Rs 5.75 per share along with the financial results. With this the company's dividend for the full financial year 2021 stood at Rs 10.75 per share, translating to a dividend yield of 5.07 percent.
