Hema Malini

Sharing her experience of singing devotional songs dedicated to Lord Krishna at a temple for the first time, she said: "I wish you all a very happy Holi. On the occasion of Holi, I have sung two songs, which are written by Kavi Narayan Agrawal and the music was composed by Vivek Prakash. I am more than happy to sing these two beautiful songs. Once again, wishing you all a Happy Holi... and please be safe."

Hema is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer and she worked in a number of hit films such as 'Johnny Mera Naam', 'Seeta Aur Geeta', 'Raja Jani', 'Dard', 'Kudrat', 'Andaz', 'Hum Dono', 'Prem Nagar', 'Jugnu', among others. She acted opposite many superstars like Rajesh Khanna, Dharmendra, Amitabh Bachchan, Dev Anand, and others.

After the performance of the 9-year-old contestant, Hema said: "You are truly unbelievable, I couldn't have imagined that a girl like her who is so quiet behind the camera, can sing like this." Hema Malini referred to her late mother and said: "Though she has gone and is no longer with me physically but still I can feel she is there around me. Many times if I am doing some work, I feel like she is waiting for me and I have to go, then suddenly I realise that she is no more. But still she is with me all the time. And the same connection I have with my daughters."

Hema Malini and 'Sholay' director Ramesh Sippy will be seen sharing fun camaraderie on the show as they go back in time, reliving the good old days of shooting the film. The trio - Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini and Ramesh Sippy will be seen sharing various unknown facts and details about the film and what actually happened 'behind the scenes'.

Among all those performances, it is contestant Florina and her guru Tushar Shetty who amazed Hema Malini most with their dance moves. They perform on 'Zindagi ek safar hai suhana' from the 1971 film 'Andaz' starring Shammi Kapoor and Rajesh Khanna with her. Hema Malini also tries to match Florina's dancing steps.

Hema Malini shared a couple of throwback photographs with her mother on Twitter and wrote: "My mother Smt Jaya Chakravarthy, affectionately called Mummy by all who knew her was an iconic figure in Mumbai, respected by everyone. She left us on this day 17 yrs ago. To me she was everything- she made me what I am & moulded my career. I feel her presence guiding me even today."
