Sanjay Raut likely to skip ED's questioning in Patra Chawl Scam case

The ED, which took Pune-based businessman Avinash Bhosale into custody this morning in connection with DHFL-Yes Bank case, wants to grill Raut in this matter too, as per sources. They claimed that Patra Chawl case of ED is also linked to DHFL case. On Monday, the central probe agency had asked Raut to appear in its Mumbai office the following day to get his statement recorded.
National Herald Case: ED likely to ask Sonia same set of questions as posed to Rahul

Sonia Gandhi has been asked to join the probe in mid July by the ED. Her questioning, which was scheduled on June 23, was postponed on health grounds. "We have to ask about her role in the deal between Young India and Associated Journal Ltd (AJL)," the sources said. Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had said that late Motilal Vora was looking after these affairs.

Earlier, he was given a dinner break at around 8:06 p.m. after a nine-hour questioning. Gandhi soon returned to ED office after having dinner. As of now he has not been summoned for Wednesday. On Tuesday, he was questioned for around nine hours and wasn't given lunch break. It was his fifth day of questioning.
Rahul Gandhi summoned by ED in National Herald case for 5th time

Till now, he has been questioned for about 40 hours by the anti-money laundering agency, including on Monday. Gandhi was reportedly questioned about a few transactions made by Kolkata-based Dotex Merchandise Pvt Ltd. Earlier, the Congress leader had denied having knowledge of any sort of loan taken by Young Indian, according to ED sources.

ED raids multiple places linked to Satyendar Jain

Satyendar Jain was arrested on May 30 by the ED under section 19 of the PMLA. According to the sources, the ED officials were conducting raids at the office of a renowned public school chain. The school is being run by a trust. Its promoter and directors are being grilled as they have connections in the Jain case. The ED officials have not given any official reaction on this so far now.

However, he tweeted that he was lucky to get away with only a suspected hairline crack. He was among hundred others who protested on Monday as party leader Rahul Gandhi was summoned for questioning by the probe agency. "When three big, burly policemen crash into you, you are lucky to get away with a suspected hairline crack! Doctors have said that if there is a hairline crack, it will heal by itself in about 10 days", Chidambaram said in the tweet.
