Tesla launched the 'virtual power plant' in partnership with California Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) to support the electricity grid while also earning compensation and maintaining energy security for its users. Powerwall is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery stationary home energy storage product manufactured by Tesla Energy which stores electricity for solar self-consumption.

The Boring Company has been in discussions with the state and municipal governments for several projects since moving to Texas, but as far as we know, they have not moved forward with any of them until now, reports the auto-tech website Electrek. Now, the company has applied with the city of Austin to build a tunnel on the Tesla Gigafactory Texas property for the project "Colorado River Connector Tunnel".

According to TMZ, one of Musk's children wants nothing to do with him and has filed legal documents to drop his famous last name. The documents were filed in LA County by Xavier Musk, at least that was the name she was given at birth, but now having turned 18 in April, she said she wants her name to be Vivian Jenna Wilson.

SpaceX 'violated' US labour law by abruptly firings employees

According to The Verge, labour lawyers now say the firings may have violated US labour law. The fired employees may also approach the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) to sue SpaceX. "To be covered, an action has to be concerted (certainly the case here) and it has to relate to working conditions," Charlotte Garden, a law professor at Seattle University, was quoted as saying in the report late on Friday.
