Decision on IPL's remaining games on May 29, UAE likely to host

"As of now, nothing has been finalised (regarding IPL)," a top BCCI office-bearer told IANS. The franchises too haven't got any intimation though they have been told that they will get to know only after May 29. "There is nothing concrete yet. But we are aware that the Board is likely decide the matter on May 29 and may convey to us after that," a franchise official told IANS.
India's performances have kept Test cricket alive: Hadlee

Postponed Asia Cup to be held in 2023

The ACC said that the tournament cannot be held at any earlier date due to the lack of a window for it during a packed cricket calendar. "It would therefore only be feasible for this edition of the tournament to be held in 2023 as there is already an Asia Cup in 2022. Dates for the same will be confirmed in due course," said the ACC in a statement.
IPL's gilt-edged status comes back to bite BCCI

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), in its hastiness to show that it is well prepared to host the T20 World Cup this October-November, went ahead with the tournament despite there being reservations about the Covid situation. It even went ahead and held the tournament in multiple venues, and not at one or two venues as was being discussed initially with the franchises.
