Tejashwi Yadav joins CBI probe in land-for-job case
Tejashwi reached the CBI headquarters in the national capital at around 10.40 a.m. He had earlier skipped three CBI summons. Before this, he was called to join the probe on March 4, 11 and 14. The last time he did not join the probe was due to his wife's health issues. The agency had recently grilled Tejashwi Yadav's mother.
Bihar CM loses cool after seeing English display board at Vidhan Parishad
He asked Speaker, Devesh Chandra Thakur, whether he want to remove the Hindi language from the house. He further demanded the Speaker to get the English display board replaced with the Hindi display board. Nitish Kumar on Monday came to the Vidhan Parishad to participate in the budget session. When he entered the House, he saw the English display board.

"When ED officials came to my house for a raid, they completed the search operation in half an hour. When we asked them to go from my house as the search was over, they said that they have orders from top bosses to stay in the house for a longer period of time so that news about the raids would run for the day," Tejashwi Yadav claimed.

"There are truths about some people who have uploaded fake videos for the provocation but that does not mean violent incidents are not taking place against Hindi-speaking people in Tamil Nadu. I have uploaded two videos where Hindi-speaking people were beaten by local Tamil youths. One such incident had happened in the train in Kongu district. I challenge Bihar and Tamil Nadu police to declare my two videos fake and register FIR against me," PK said, during the 161st day of Padyatra at Maharajganj in Siwan district on Saturday.

"I have already asked the CBI about why it is bothering to conduct raids on our house every month. I also offered to open an office inside our residence. They are coming to Patna and spending the money of taxpayers. We always cooperate with the central agency but they have not found any proof of it," Tejashwi Yadav said.

Bihar government sends team to probe attack on workers in Tamil Nadu
Nitish visited the statue of famous writer Phanishwar Nath Renu in Patna and said that he has directed the State Chief Secretary and Bihar DGP to send a team to observe the ground situation in Tamil Nadu. Bihari labourers were brutally assaulted by local Tamilians for the last 15 days. Many of the labourers returned home and complained about the brutality in Tamil Nadu.

During police investigation, it came to the fore that three bike-borne assailants recently opened fire on protesters in Muzaffarpur in which a youth identified as Rahul Kumar died. Three persons arrested in this connection are said to have links with Mansoori. Rahul's family and other protesters have alleged that the firing was done on Mansoori's direction.
