The Bihar Home Ministry has served show cause notice to Vaibhav, the IG, Home Guards, after he uploaded a complaint against DG, Home Guards, Shobha Ahotkar on social media for airing internal departmental matters in the public domain. It has asked him to reply within 7 days.

The ministry has sought a clarification from Vaibhav within the seven days for posting department matter in the public domain. Vaibhav had uploaded a complaint against Home Guard DG Shobha Ahotkar on social media, alleging that the latter was abusing him every day. On February 13, Vaibhav had sent a letter to the Home Ministry requesting the authority for his immediate transfer.

While uploading a Facebook post, Jaiswal, attributing the statements of local protestors, alleged that the accused involved in Kanti firing are connected with Mansoori. The BJP leader also alleged that the firing took place on his orders. The local residents are angry after the murder of an 18-year-old protester.

On the same day, Amit Shah will address a rally in Valmiki Nagar in West Champaran district. "The rally of Mahagathbandhan will not affect the rally of Amit Shah. I firmly believe that the JD-U will be destroyed by the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and the BJP will win with a big margin in Bihar," BJP MLC Nawal Kishore Yadav said.
