A heated argument between Rubina and Abhinav became the main highlight of the show while Arshi Khan was punished by Bigg Boss for damaging house property. A strange task was also given by Bigg Boss for choosing the next captain of the BB House. 

With over 100 cameras spread across the house to maintain 24 hours vigilance on the housemates, Rubina and Jasmine's reality television gameplan has been very different from the scripted reality that fiction television lets them play out as telly bahus.

The episode began with an ugly fight between the housemates. Rakhi Sawant and Sonali Phogat ganged up to force Nikki Tamboli to do her house chores for the day. As the war of words became ugly, every housemate joined the fight and Sonali ended up fighting her own friends Aly Goni and Rahul Vaidya.

It all happened when Salman decided to show the contestants what they have actually been up to in the house, at times perhaps without realising. The first Weekend Ka Vaar of the year was all about showing the contestants that they were getting unduly mean to each other with every passing day.

Rahul, who is the son of late politician Pramod Mahajan, was one of the most popular and talked-about contestants when he entered the house in "Bigg Boss" season 2. "If we talk about the second season, I was different and single. I was not married at that time. I was 33. I could do more things, take more liberty, and have more fun. There are many things I could not do right now with my age and maturity and life. Things change. I am satisfied," he added.

Rahul's exit came after Indian television actress Monalisa announced his eviction, post her entertainment performance. Rahul had entered Bigg Boss 14 as a challenger along with Arshi Khan, Vikas Gupta, Rakhi Sawant, Kashmera Shah, and Manu Punjabi.

In a promo released by the show makers, an excited Sunny is seen saying that superstar host Salman Khan has invited her to the show to start the New Year with a bang. The video clip also features Monalisa, Surbhi Chandna and Sharad Malhotra.

Contestant Jasmin Bhasin tries to intervene, but Rakhi does not stop. Rahul Vaidya steps in and says this has to end now. An angry Aly Goni finally loses his cool and says that the ongoing Captaincy Task will not continue until Bigg Boss took action over Rakhi's behaviour with Rahul Mahajan.

The season rides high and has acquired most of its interesting moments courtesy the girls of the house. The show seemed a little boring for most of the season, but has lately acquired spice and glamour thanks to Rakhi Sawant, Nikki Tamboli, Arshi Khan Jasmin Bhasin and Rubina Dilaik.

The strategy stood her in good stead for weeks. Fans of the show lapped up the bold and beautiful image that Nikki was peddling during that initial stint.
