‘The Lady Killer’ shows Arjun Kapoor as some kind of private investigator who enters a massive mansion. Inside the splendid structure, the actor meets Bhumi who looks like she is the caretaker of the house.

This weekend, the talent-based reality show, 'India’s Got Talent' season 10, sees Bhumi Pednekar, Shehnaaz Gill, Kusha Kapila, Dolly Singh, and Shibani Bedi as the guests.

Bhumi compared their bond with each other similar to the relationship between Kapil Sharma and Archana Puran Singh. As they both keep teasing each other, similarly, Rajkummar enjoys teasing Bhumi. The 33-year-old actress is known for her powerful acting in movies such as 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha', 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha', 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan' and many of her projects are yet to be released like 'Bheed' starring Rajkummar Rao among others.

Bhumi Pednekar' slate of seven films, including 'Govinda Naam Mera', released earlier this month. Her upcoming line-up includes Anubhav Sinha's 'Bheed', Ajay Bahl's 'The Ladykiller', Sudhir Mishra's 'Afwaa', Gauri Khan-produced 'Bhakshak', Mudassar Aziz's 'Mere Husband Ki Biwi' and a couple of more unannounced projects.

Elaborating on the same, the actress says, "I honestly have loved delivering the punches in the film and I have to admit that I have been given some of the most hilarious punchlines by Shashank (Khaitan, the director). What I love the most about my dialoguebaazi (punchy dialogues) in 'Govinda Naam Mera' is that they are from the heroine's side and that's refreshing for a romantic comedy in the Hindi film industry because traditionally only heroes used to get all the great dialogues in a genre like this and make people laugh."

At a recent Sonam Kapoor's Diwali party, when netizens spotted Bhumi Pednekar walking inside in a white coloured dress, many said she never looks good, or commented on her choice and said that she looks 'vulgar'. Moreover, few straightforwardly called the dress inspired by Urfi. One fan wrote: "With all the designers who they have access to, this is what she picks."

Commenting on the same, Bhumi said, "It is such a lovely coincidence that on the 5th anniversary of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Raksha Bandhan - my second movie with Akshay sir is releasing in theatres today! Akshay sir has been a huge part of my career and there is so much I have learnt from him. Akshay sir has always backed me to deliver on screen and I'm grateful for his trust and vision for me as an artiste." Incidentally, both  Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' and  Raksha Bandhan' have social themes at their core.

After Sara, Janhvi and Jacqueline, Bhumi became the fifth Bollywood actress to come under Enforcement Director’s raider in connection with the agency's probe against Sukesh Chandrashekhar. According to a source of IndiaToday.in, Sukesh’s associate Pinky Irani approached Bhumi in January where she pretended to be the vice-president of HR of a news organization.

Commenting on her character, a lesbian sports instructor who marries a gay cop (played by Rajkummar Rao), Pednekar said: "She is somebody whose life is very different from mine and that is not because of our sexual preferences, it is more about the choices one makes in life. I am somebody who has lived her life full of freedom. My character does not have that privilege."
