App Store now accepting UPI, Rupay cards for payments in India

Apple releases watchOS 7.6.1 with security update

The watchOS 7.6.1 comes two weeks after the release of watchOS 7.6, an update that brought ECG capabilities to new regions, MacRumors reported on Thursday. They also added that while the impact of the chip shortage was less severe than feared in the third quarter, it will get worse in the fourth, extending to iPhone production.

Apple said during its earnings call on Tuesday that the iPhone revenue set a June quarter record of $39.6 billion. "The big difference here is the mix of iPhones selling. Apple launched the low-cost iPhone SE in April 2020, which accounted for 28 per cent of its mix at that time. This year, with no new iPhone SE, its average selling price increased drastically," said Le Xuan Chiew, Canalys Research Analyst.
