Samsung Debuts in Sub-₹10,000 5G Segment in India with Galaxy F06 5G

In recent months, several smartphone brands have introduced budget-friendly 5G devices in this segment, including Xiaomi’s Redmi A4 5G and Motorola’s Moto G35 5G. Additionally, Indian brand Lava has been offering 5G smartphones in this price range.

Samsung has officially entered the sub-₹10,000 5G smartphone market with the launch of the Galaxy F06 5G, the company announced on Wednesday.

In recent months, several smartphone brands have introduced budget-friendly 5G devices in this segment, including Xiaomi’s Redmi A4 5G and Motorola’s Moto G35 5G. Additionally, Indian brand Lava has been offering 5G smartphones in this price range.

Welcoming the launch, Akshay S Rao, General Manager of MX Business at Samsung India, said, "We are thrilled to launch our most affordable 5G smartphone with an aim to make future connectivity affordable for everyone. The Galaxy F06 5G is a testament to our vision to narrow the digital divide by offering the full 5G experience, high performance, and a new, fashion-inspired design—all at a launch price of ₹9,499."

It comes powered by MediaTek D6300 processor and with a humongous 5000mAh battery on Galaxy F06 5G. Camera setup features 50MP wide-angle main sensor for better high-resolution shots, and for background blur the device has 2MP depth camera at the back. There's an 8MP camera in front, also known as selfie camera.

The smartphone will come in two models: a 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model priced at ₹9,499 and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model priced at ₹10,999.
