HMD Global, the parent company of Nokia—HE:NOKIA—phones, is bringing back the indestructible Nokia 3210 phone to India to mark the 25th anniversary of its release. Next, at a price point of Rs. 3,999, including three vivid colors such as Scuba Blue, Grunge Black, and Y2K Gold, there is the Nokia 3210. Back at it and "2024's fun phone," it comes loaded with a nice serving of nostalgia and a dash of modern functionality.
For HMD's VP for India & APAC, Ravi Kunwar, the Nokia 3210 is uncontemporized in appeal. "The original Nokia 3210 holds a special place in many hearts as one of the highest-selling mobile phones ever. Its iconic design and rich legacy make it an ideal candidate for reinterpretation in today's context."
In addition to that, Nokia 3210 comes with YouTube, YouTube Music. There's also an instant messaging suite of eight basic essential apps that includes Weather, News, Sokoban, Cricket Score, 2048 Game, and Tetris. Other classic features are the Snake game, a 2MP camera, and a flashlight. Furthermore, it comes preloaded with any UPI application that is approved by NPCI.
Apart from Nokia 3210, HMD Global launched two other devices—the Nokia 235 4G and the Nokia 220 4G. The Nokia 235 4G sports a big 2.8-inch IPS display and improved functionality. It comes with a 2MP rear camera in three colors: Blue, Black, and Purple. It is going to be priced at Rs 3,749. The refreshed Nokia 220 4G comes with the same 2.8-inch IPS display as the other two; it has pre-installed UPI apps and will be available in a Peach & Black color variant for Rs 3,249. All of these launches substantiate the fact that HMD is committed to providing nostalgia blended with contemporary features in its product offerings.
