Significantly, Facebook and Twitter witness considerable declines in teen usage compared to a decade ago. Facebook's user base dropped from 71% in 2014-2015 to 33% today, while Twitter's decline, though less steep, remains noticeable.

Gender disparities highlight higher constant usage among teen girls than boys on TikTok (22% vs. 12%) and Snapchat (17% vs. 12%). Older teens exhibit more extensive platform usage than younger peers across Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and Reddit, showcasing notable variations between age brackets.
