Samsung, LG to go head-to-head with Mini LED TVs in 2021
A Mini LED TV is a liquid crystal display (LCD) TV that uses tiny LED chips that generally range from 100 to 200 micrometres in size for its backlights. The product offers better brightness, higher contrast ratio and lower power consumption compared to conventional LCD TVs with regular LEDs.
Apple iPhone 13 may use Samsung 120 Hz OLED displays
"Apple's iPhone 13 will have four models and all of them will use OLED panels. The top two models will use LTPO OLED that can support a 120Hz refresh rate", the report mentioned. The iPhone 13 lineup may mirror the iPhone 12 family of phones, with a 5.4-inch iPhone 13 Mini, 6.1-inch iPhone 13, 6.1-inch iPhone 13 Pro and 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max.
LG unveils upgraded smart TV platform with new voice controls
LG, the world's second-largest TV maker, said the webOS 6.0 will run on its 2021 TV sets including OLED, QNED Mini LED and NanoCell TVs, and will feature enhanced voice controls and user-friendly interface. Twitter finally deletes China's nasty tweet on Uyghur women
