Samsung files patent for under-display camera for its smartphones
The patent comes with the trademark "Under Panel Camera" or UPC emanated from Seoul-based Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) and is linked to Samsung. The patent falls under the category 'Smartphone/TV display panel'. Samsung seems to be preparing to apply this new camera technology in several types of products.

India 5G smartphone shipments to hit 38 mn units in 2021
At the end of Q3 2020, India's 5G shipments stood at 1.7 million, a number which is projected to cross 4 million by the end of 2020. According to Counterpoint Research, the 5G shipments were driven by two brands -- OnePlus, the only brand with a 100 per cent 5G portfolio, and Apple, which launched the iPhone 12 series with 5G connectivity.
