Within a mere two weeks, the product gained significant traction, witnessing over 3,000 units sold in the domestic market.

Vaishnaw emphasized a significant surge in employment within the electronics manufacturing sector, expected to rise from the current 10 lakh to 25 lakh in the foreseeable future. He highlighted India's remarkable journey, transforming from importing 98% of mobile phones a decade ago to now producing 99% domestically.

The co-founders of OpenAI, including Greg Brockman, Ilya Sutskever, John Schulman, Sam Altman, and Wojciech Zaremba, emphasized their refusal to agree to terms granting any individual absolute control over the organization, citing a misalignment with their mission.

Scheduled for release on March 11, the smartphone will be accessible for purchase through various channels including Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN).in, Lava E-store, and across the extensive Lava Retail Network.

Scheduled to hit the shelves on March 12, Phone (2a) will be available in Black and White colors at various leading outlets including Flipkart, Croma, and Vijay Sales. With three variants to choose from, consumers can opt for the 8GB+128GB model priced at Rs 23,999, the 8GB+256GB variant at Rs 25,999, or the top-tier 12GB+256GB version for Rs 27,999.
