Uber to pay $1.1mn to blind woman for refusing rides 14 times

Lisa Irving and her dog have won in an arbitration case against Uber in the US, reports San Francisco Chronicle. According to Irving, she missed work, birthday celebration, Christmas Eve church services and "was left out in the dark, in the rain, and other such humiliations because Uber drivers refused to carry her and her dog on 14 different occasions".
Google Home's new settings to help customise 'Feed' tab

According to 9To5Google, there's a new button in the top-left corner at the top of Google Home's second tab. The "Feed customization settings" page starts with "Whole home" where Google lists two categories -- Household Routines: Home & Away Routine and Wi-Fi: Network status, Wi-Fi activity.

Google Wifi app getting rolled into Google Home app: Report

The switchover to the Google Home app will come in two phases -- first, Google will disable most of the functionality of the Google Wifi app on May 25, The Verge reported on Friday. Starting then, users will only be able to view the current status of their networks, but any changes, including adding new routers or access points, will have to be done in the Google Home app.

Internally, Google refers to this chip as "GS101," with "GS" potentially being short for "Google Silicon," the report said on Friday.
