BOE showcases world's first 500Hz+ gaming monitor

The new prototype is a 27-inch oxide FHD 500 Hz+ display said to be the world's highest refresh rate display, reports GizmoChina. Currently, that BOE's monitor is a prototype designed for demonstration purposes only. BOE has not stated if it will be making a 500Hz+ gaming panel for the mass market anytime soon. According to reports, this monitor uses a high mobility Oxide backplane, supports 8Lane eDP output, true 8bit output, and has a 1ms response.

HP's 11-inch tablet with rotating camera launched

The device is available for $499 while the package that includes the keyboard accessory will cost $599, reports GizmoChina. The HP 11-inch Windows tablet comes with an 11-inch screen, which has a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels. The tablet has an 84.6 per cent screen to body ratio and supports 100 per cent of the sRGB colour gamut. Under the hood, the HP tablet features an Intel Pentium Silver N6000 processor, which has four cores and up to 3.2GHz of CPU clock speed.
iOS 15.4 may finally bring 120Hz animations to all apps

It looks like Apple was able to squash the Core Animation bug that would not allow animations to go beyond 60 fps, reports GSMArena. It is impossible to confirm, right now, if all apps will run at 120 frames per second automatically. Windows 11 adoption happening twice as fast as Windows 10

According to XDA Developers, the January usage report published by AdDuplex shows that Windows 11 has almost doubled its user base since November 2021. In the two months since the last report, back in November, Windows 11 has nearly doubled its usage share to 16.1 per cent. In November, it was at 8.6 per cent. Users are adopting Windows 11 much quicker than expected, which is twice as fast as they adopted Windows 10.
