Jack Dorsey, Jay-Z partner on Bitcoin educational programme in US
The initiative is a 12-week free educational course, both online and in person, for residents of the Marcy Houses in Brooklyn, where Jay-Z grew up, starting from June 22 till September 7. The programme, designed in collaboration with Crypto Blockchain Plug and Black Bitcoin Billionaire, aims to provide education, and empower the community with knowledge.
Now Amazon will let you try on shoes virtually
"Virtual Try-On for Shoes" provides customers a convenient way to visualise how a pair of shoes will look on themselves, creating more immersive experiences while shopping for fashion online. Apple to extend loans for its Pay Later service
According to CNBC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Apple will check user credit and extend short-term loans to the users for Apple Pay Later. Later this year, when the company's new iOS 16 iPhone software is released, users will be able to buy products with Apple Pay and pay the balance in four equal parts over six weeks as a 'buy now, pay later' (BNPL) service
LinkedIn expands its live audio feature for creators
The company, which first launched live audio events in January, will now open up hosting capabilities to all creators. With the update, all LinkedIn creators who use the platform's "creator mode" will be able to host live audio events so long as they stay in line with the platform's "community policies of being a trustworthy, safe, and professional provider of content," reports Engadget.

Tech billionaire Elon Musk said he believes that the upcoming Cybertruck will be the companys "best product ever". Santosh Janardhan to replace Meta's head of engineering David Mortenson
Following the recent exit of Meta COO Sheryl Sandberg and head of AI Jerome Pesenti, now top engineering executive David Mortenson is reportedly stepping down and will be replaced by Santosh Janardhan. According to an internal memo obtained by The Verge, Santosh Janardhan, one of Mortenson's direct reports and a current VP of engineering, will assume the role later this month. A spokesperson for Meta, Jon Carvill, confirmed the change.

Global consumer robot company iRobot Corp on Thursday unveiled a new robotic vacuum cleaner Roomba j7+ with iRobot OS for Indian consumers. iRobot OS delivers a new level of customer experience for a cleaner, healthier and smarter home. "Smart home products often fail to live up to consumer expectations when they lack the context of the home, cannot learn independently, and require complex programming for basic functionality," Colin Angle, chairman and CEO of iRobot, said.
Twitter testing new shopping feature 'Product Drops'
The new feature lets brands tease items before they go on sale, and users can sign up to be reminded before the release through in-app notifications. "With Product Drops, when a merchant Tweets about an upcoming launch, you will see a 'Remind me' button at the bottom of the Tweet," the company said in a blogpost.
Twitter now plans to provide Musk access to data on bots
Soon after making a $44 billion deal to acquire Twitter in April, Musk has been asking for information about spam and fake accounts. On Monday he threatened to walk away from the deal if the company fails to provide the data. To end the standoff with the billionaire, Twitter board has plans to comply with access to data that he says is necessary to evaluate the number of fake users on the platform.
