Apple Watch battery heated up and exploded, claims user
After the incident came to Apple's notice, the tech giant requested the user to sign a document and asked him not to share the story publically. However, he declined to sign the document, reports AppleInsider. The user said that the Apple Watch displayed a high-temperature warning, and he reported that it felt much hotter than usual. After the examination, he found that the back of the Watch had cracked.
Google Chrome most vulnerable browser in 2022: Report
According to a report by Atlas VPN, these figures are based on data from the VulDB vulnerability database, covering January 1, 2022 to October 5, 2022. Google Chrome is the only browser with new vulnerabilities in the five days in October. Recent ones include CVE-2022-3318, CVE-2022-3314, CVE-2022-3311, CVE-2022-3309, and CVE-2022-3307.
Tesla retires ultrasonic sensors in new cars with new camera tech
The company said it will now shift towards placing camera-only Tesla Vision Safety technology in its cars. "In 2021, we began our transition to Tesla Vision by removing radar from Model 3 and Model Y, followed by Model S and Model X in 2022. Today, in most regions around the globe, these vehicles now rely on Tesla Vision, our camera-based Autopilot system," said the company.
Twitter allows users to combine photos, videos and GIFs in single tweet
The company said it is giving everyone the ability to share multiple types of media in a single Tweet. "This feature will roll out globally to iOS and Android, with a chance to see mixed media Tweets on the web," the company said in a blog post late on Wednesday. The feature was first spotted by reverse engineer Alessandro Paluzzi in April.
Facebook adds 'show more' and 'show less' tabs on News Feed
The Facebook users can now customise Facebook Feed by selecting Show more' or Show less' on a post to see more of what you want and less of what you don't. "Selecting Show more will temporarily increase the ranking score for that post and posts like it. If you select Show less, you'll temporarily decrease its ranking score," Meta said in a blog post late on Wednesday.

Google rolls out widgets for iOS 16 Lock Screen on iPhones
With Apple launching of iOS 16, Google had also announced to roll out new features that will allow users to place widgets directly on their iPhones' lock screen. Google users can now add Lock Screen widgets for popular apps like Gmail and Google News but widgets for Search, Maps and Calendar are yet to arrive.
