5G transition: Telecom dept to meet mobile handset makers, service providers
During Wednesday's meeting, which has been convened jointly by Secretaries of telecom and IT departments, mobile handset companies like Apple, Samsung and others are likely to be asked to push for over the air (OTA) upgrades for 5G handsets, sources aware of the development said.

"This data points to the fact that the operators are still recalibrating their networks. The speeds are expected to be more stable moving forward as these networks will enter the commercial stage," the report mentioned.
Twitter asked whistleblower to destroy computer files, notebooks: Musk team
The filing in the Delaware Chancery Court in the US, which was unsealed on Monday, revealed that Twitter asked Zatko to destroy evidence before he was asked to leave the company after he received more than $7 million as part of the settlement. Bloomberg first reported this news, saying the handwritten notebooks "contained notes of the whistleblower's meetings with company counterparts during his year-long tenure as security chief".
YouTube rolls out handles to channels for easier mentions
Handles will appear on channel pages and Shorts so that they will be instantly and consistently recognisable. It will soon be simpler and faster to mention each other in comments, community posts, video descriptions, and more. "For example, creators can be shouted out in a mention in comments or tagged in the title of a recent collab, helping them increase visibility and reach with new audiences," the company said in a blogpost.
