Apple may cut prices of base, Plus models of iPhone 15
According to Macworld, reports have consistently indicated that demand for the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max was higher than expected, with lower demand for the base model iPhone 14 -- particularly the iPhone 14 Plus. While the iPhone 14 Plus starts at $899, the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which has the same screen size, costs just $200 more with numerous additional features -- A16 chip, ProMotion display and Dynamic Island, telephoto camera, and stainless-steel design.
Motorola's Moto Watch 100 to offer iPhone music control in 2023
According to AppleInsider, the Moto Watch 100 was initially launched in December 2021 as a budget-focused smartwatch. The music control app is compatible with iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, enabling it to be used by Apple users. With the new Moto Watch 100, fall detection and emergency alerts will be included along with heart-rate monitoring, SPO2 oxygen saturation alerts, and daily updates, according to the report.

Anonymous Twitter user leaks 3Commas API keys
More than 10,000 of the keys were released by the leaker who the rest "will be published full [sic] randomly in the upcoming days", CoinDesk reported. In a tweet on Thursday, 3Commas CEO Yuriy Sorokin confirmed the authenticity of the leak and said that "as an immediate action, we have asked that Binance, KuCoin, and other supported exchanges revoke all the [API] keys that were connected to 3Commas".
Apple not planning to launch 14.1-inch iPad Pro in 2023
In June, display analyst Ross Young had mentioned that a 14.1-inch iPad Pro with a mini-LED display was set to launch in the first quarter of 2023, reports MacRumors. However, Young has now said that the tech giant is no longer planning to launch the new 14.1-inch iPad Pro. He suggests that the device has been cancelled or significantly postponed.A 14.1-inch iPad Pro would have been the largest iPad to date, as the current model is 12.9-inch. Meanwhile, it was reported that the iPhone maker is working on 11.1-inch and 13-inch OLED iPad Pro models that will be launched in the first quarter of 2024.
Google's Waze app adds new feature that warns about dangerous roads
When using this new beta version of Waze, nearby high-risk roads are coloured red on the map, however, this may not be the case for roads that the user frequently travels on, reports The Verge, citing sources. The feature also only displays one pop-up notification about the dangerous roads around the driver, possibly to keep caution from becoming anxious. While the feature is still in beta, it is expected to be made available to the general public soon, the report added. In June, the tech giant rolled out a new feature for Google Maps that will now show the air quality layer in the US on both Android and iOS users.
TSMC 3nm chip to make iPhone 15 more power efficient
The benefit of 3nm processors over the present 4nm and 5nm ones is that they can provide better performance while unquestionably consuming less power, reports AppleInsider. TSMC held a ceremony on Thursday to mark the official start of production where company chairman, Mark Liu, claimed that the new 3nm processors were 35 per cent more power efficient and have an undefined increase in speed.
Samsung unveils new laptop with Snapdragon Gen 3 chipset
According to GSMArena, the new model was announced in South Korea and will be released on January 16, 2023. Earlier this year, the 8cx Gen 3 chipset was launched for Windows-on-ARM devices bringing major performance improvements. In comparison to Gen 2, it offers more than 85 per cent better multi-core CPU performance, and more than 60 per cent better GPU performance, according to the report.
