ChatGPT gets passing score in US medical licensing exam that takes years of training
ChatGPT is designed to generate human-like writing by predicting upcoming word sequences. Unlike most chatbots, ChatGPT cannot search the internet. Instead, it generates text using word relationships predicted by its internal processes. In the study, published in the open-access journal PLOS Digital Health, Tiffany Kung, Victor Tseng, and colleagues at AnsibleHealth tested ChatGPT's performance on the USMLE.
Microsoft's new AI-enabled classroom tools to improve speaking, math skills
With the new tool, teachers will be able to save their time by "streamlining the process of creating, reviewing, and analysing speaking and presentation assignments for students, groups, and classrooms", Microsoft said. Homegrown social media app Slick exposed users' data, including kids
According to TechCrunch, an internal Slick database with full names, mobile numbers, dates of birth, and profile pictures of users was "left exposed online without a password." The internal database contained entries of over 153,000 Slick users. The Bengaluru-based app allows school and college students to connect and talk about their friends anonymously.

Reddit hacked in sophisticated, highly-targeted phishing attack
According to Reddit CTO Christopher Slowe, or KeyserSosa, the company became aware of the "sophisticated" attack targeting its employees on February 5. "As in most phishing campaigns, the attacker sent out plausible-sounding prompts pointing employees to a website that cloned the behaviour of our intranet gateway, in an attempt to steal credentials and second-factor tokens," Slowe said.
'Sorry, it can't be done', SC declines to modify order on Google's plea
In January, the apex court had declined to entertain a plea by Google challenging an NCLAT order, which refused to stay operation of the Competition Commission of India (CCI) order imposing Rs 1,337.76 crore fine on the tech giant. Centre lifts ban on PayU's LazyPay, Kissht, KreditBee lending apps
The IT Ministry was recently instructed by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to ban such apps, which operate through a third party link. Sources said that all these apps were found violating Section 69 of the IT Act and contained materials which were deemed as threat to India's sovereignty and integrity.
