Hackers targeted Microsoft, Google, Apple via zero-day exploitation in 2022: Report
According to information security company Mandiant, products of Microsoft, Google and Apple made up the majority of zero-day vulnerabilities in 2022, consistent with the previous years, and the most exploited product types were operating systems (19), followed by browsers (11), security, IT, and network management products (10), and mobile OS (six).

About 1,046 tech companies -- from Big Tech to startups -- laid off more than 1.61 lakh employees last year.

Twitter testing govt ID-based verification for Blue users: Report
The method for submitting a photo of the users' ID, both front and back, combined with a selfie photo, to authenticate their Twitter account is revealed through code-level insights uncovered by the product intelligence firm Watchful.ai, reports TechCrunch. However, it is still unclear whether the feature is being tested externally. According to the firm, the feature is in testing in the US, where it was found in the Android version of the Twitter application.
Google giving some Pixel Superfans chance to try Bard AI
