Not considering law to regulate AI growth in country: IT Ministry
In a reply to a question in Lok Sabha, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) said it sees AI as a significant and strategic area for the country and technology sector. "AI will have a kinetic effect for the growth of entrepreneurship and business and the government is taking all necessary steps in policies and infrastructure to develop a robust AI sector in the country," said the Ministry.

YouTube adds dedicated 'Podcasts' tab to channel pages
Channel pages on YouTube's main website and mobile apps now include a "Podcasts" tab between "Live" and "Playlists", which according to Google, is available globally, reports 9to5Google. This new tab displays playlists that YouTube Creators have designated as podcasts.Only content marked as podcasts will appear in YouTube Music.
Kirana tech startup 1K Kirana lays off 40% of workforce, over 200 employees hit
In a statement to IANS, the Info Edge-backed startup said that they are currently in the process of restructuring as the growth forecasts have changed. "We are changing our focus areas and moving out of a few geographies. Due to this, we have to let go of 40 percent of our employees. All the employees will be given severances and we will assist them with outplacements," said a 1K Kirana spokesperson.

Designer and blogger Matt Webb has developed this rhyming E Ink clock using ChatGPT that creates a short two-line rhyme that also tells the time for every minute of the day, reports The Verge.According to Webb, the clock is powered by an old Inky wHAT screen and a Raspberry Pi that he previously had set up as a regular text clock.
