Despite facing significant criticism for the presence of antisemitic content on X, Musk plans to meet with Israel's President Isaac Herzog, alongside Netanyahu. The visit will involve a tour of areas near the Gaza border, offering Musk a firsthand perspective on the devastation caused by terrorists crossing the Israel-Gaza border for the deadly assault.

Following the attack, Israel retaliated by launching an offensive against Hamas. According to the Hamas-run Palestinian Ministry of Health, Israeli military actions in Gaza have resulted in the loss of approximately 13,000 lives.

In a recent development on November 24, Israel and Hamas reached a four-day cease-fire agreement, contingent on the release of 24 hostages held by the terror group.

Musk's handling of antisemitism issues on X has faced mounting criticism in recent weeks. The Joe Biden administration condemned Musk for perpetuating a "hideous lie" about Jewish people, as the X owner continued to align with far-right perspectives and endorsed content promoting antisemitism.

Responding to an antisemitic conspiracy theory, Musk controversially labeled it as "actual truth." This stance extends to a conspiracy theory linked to the 2018 Pittsburgh synagogue attack that claimed 11 lives.

A report from the non-profit Media Matters asserted that as Musk delves deeper into white nationalist and antisemitic conspiracy theories, X's social media platform has been displaying ads for major brands in close proximity to content endorsing Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party. Following the report, major tech and media companies, including Apple, IBM, Disney, Warner Bros, Discovery, Paramount, Comcast/NBCUniversal, and others, reportedly withdrew or paused their advertisements on X.

In response to the allegations, Musk took legal action against Media Matters, accusing the organization of interference with contracts, business disparagement, and interference with prospective economic advantage.
