Elon Musk added a touch of humor to the recent Microsoft developments, reacting to the announcement of former OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and co-founder Greg Brockman joining Microsoft. 

Musk's quip on Monday about the situation humorously referred to Microsoft's own platform, Teams, stating, "Now they have to use Teams!" – a playful nod to Microsoft's communication platform used in business settings.

Musk also engaged with Altman's post about joining Microsoft, prompting a response from Satya Nadella, Microsoft's CEO, who chimed in, "Wild times. Satya ftw (for the win)."

The news comes amidst speculation regarding Altman's return as CEO of OpenAI following his unexpected removal. Microsoft's substantial investment of over $10 billion in OpenAI has fueled ongoing developments and partnerships aimed at accelerating AI breakthroughs and ensuring broader access to the benefits of AI advancements globally.

Moreover, amid leadership transitions at OpenAI, the board has appointed former Twitch CEO Emmett Shear as the interim CEO. OpenAI co-founder and board director Ilya Sutskever confirmed Shear's appointment as interim CEO, taking over from Mira Murati, who was previously aligned with Altman in public perception.
