itel, known as one of the most popular sub-10K smartphone brands in India, has unveiled two new innovative smartphones under its highly anticipated Power series: the itel P55 and P55+. These new additions mark a significant leap for itel into 2024, promising to deliver impressive features at competitive price points.
The itel P55 will be available in two variants: the 4+8GB+128GB variant priced at Rs 6,999 for online purchase, and the 8+16GB+128GB variant priced at Rs 8,999 for offline purchase. Meanwhile, the itel P55+ with an 8+8GB+256GB configuration will be available online for Rs 9,499.
To sweeten the deal, itel is offering an introductory discount of Rs 500 on both the itel P55 and P55+ models along with bank offers.
Arijeet Talapatra, CEO of itel India, expressed excitement about the launch, emphasizing the brand's commitment to innovation and affordability. He highlighted that the upcoming itel P55T, featuring Android 14 GO out of the box, is set to launch in the last week of February, further reinforcing itel's position as a pioneer in the sub-10K market.
The P55 and P55T aim to cater to the evolving needs of smartphone users by offering features such as long-lasting battery life, rapid charging, multitasking capabilities, increased storage, and crisp display clarity. Both models promise unmatched performance and premium features, making them an attractive option for Gen-Z consumers.
The itel P55+ features an elegant vegan leather body with exquisite 3D stitching and boasts 45W Power charging, enabling fast charging from 0 to 100 per cent in just 72 minutes. On the other hand, the P55 offers 18W Fast Charge on its expansive 5000mAh battery.
In terms of display, the P55+ sports a captivating 6.56-inch HD+ display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, while the P55 features a similarly impressive 6.6-inch HD+ display with the same refresh rate.
Both models offer exceptional performance capabilities, with ample storage and RAM configurations to handle everyday tasks and entertainment seamlessly. Additionally, the smartphones come equipped with a 50MP AI Dual Camera system for stunning image output and intelligent photography enhancements.
