Elon Musk Takes a Dig at Paris Hilton's New Ad Following Suspension of X Deal by Her Firm

While the collaboration between X and 11:11 Media was initially heralded as a broad partnership, Musk took aim at Hilton's newly launched line of pink cookware amidst the controversy.

Elon Musk and Paris Hilton have found themselves embroiled in a public spat following the fallout from Hilton's company, '11:11 Media,' pulling its ad campaign from X due to concerns over antisemitic content. This move echoed similar actions by big names like IBM and Apple after Musk endorsed a post with antisemitic undertones on X, according to reports from the New York Post.

Critiquing the ad campaign, Musk remarked, "The ad campaign wasn’t overly convincing tbh. I don’t think Paris spends much time cooking."

Earlier, X CEO Linda Yaccarino had celebrated the advertising deal on her own platform, hailing Hilton as the "queen of pop culture, music, business, and TV."

“The queen of pop culture, music, business, and TV is #Sliving on X. @ParisHilton welcome to the @X family, we’re excited to launch an official partnership with you and your next-gen media company 11:11,” Yaccarino posted previously.

Musk's comment on Hilton came in the wake of his notable appearance at the New York Times’ DealBook summit. During the summit, when questioned by Andrew Ross Sorkin about advertising pauses, Musk took a bold stance, stating, "Don't advertise." When pressed further, Musk bluntly replied, "If somebody's going to try to blackmail me with advertising, blackmail me with money? Go f*** yourself." Later, he expressed regret for what he labeled as his "dumbest" social media post on Semitism.
