Vishal Garg, the chief executive of mortgage company Better.com has apologised for his way of handling layoffs, after his video of firing 900 people last week via a Zoom call went viral on social media. Garg was highly criticised for his move of sacking 900 employees on a Zoom call.

3."I realize that the way I communicated this news made a difficult situation worse," Mr Garg further said in a letter dated Tuesday. According to the CEO, the market, performance and productivity were the reason behind his decision to lay off employees in the US and India.
