Jannik Sinner produced a clinical performance to defeat Novak Djokovic in straight sets on Friday, booking his place in the Wimbledon men's singles final where he will face Alexander Zverev.
The Italian claimed a 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 victory, maintaining complete control throughout the contest to move into the championship match.
The opening set remained evenly poised until the score reached 4-4, with both players comfortably holding serve. Sinner then earned the decisive break against Djokovic before serving out the set 6-4.
He carried that momentum into the second set, securing another crucial break of serve to edge ahead and wrap up the set by the same 6-4 scoreline.
The defending champion never allowed his intensity to drop in the third set, once again prevailing 6-4 to complete a straight-sets victory and secure his spot in the title clash.
Earlier on Friday, Alexander Zverev also advanced to the final after overcoming Arthur Fery in straight sets.
