WATCH | Suryakumar Yadav hits four sixes in last over against Hong Kong in Asia Cup 2022

India's middle-order batsman Suryakumar Yadav's terrific batting performance helped India to crush Hong Kong by 40 runs at Asia Cup 2022 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. He made unbeaten 68 runs off just 26 deliveries with a strike rate of 261.54. On a difficult track where KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma struggled, Suryakumar Yadav's brilliant knock helped India reach a huge total of 192 runs in their 20 overs. He and Virat Kohli had a magnificent 98 runs partnership. Kohli made an unbeaten 59 runs off 44 deliveries.

Suryakumar Yadav plundered 26 runs in the 20th over and hit three sixes off the first three deliveries. He entered the list of fastest fifties by Indians in T20 International. Surya is also tied with Rohit Sharma in the list of most T20I runs by an Indian in one over. Yuvraj Singh's 36-run in an over against England is at the top. Rohit hit 26 runs against New Zealand. Replying to India's total, Hong Kong impressed with the bat, Babar Hayat (41 runs off 35), Kinchit Shah (30 runs off 28), and Zeeshan Ali (26 runs off 17) helped them  reach 152/5 but they lost the match by 40 runs.
