Indian cricketing sensation Shikhar Dhawan is all set to venture into hosting with his maiden chat show, titled 'Dhawan Karenge', which is set to go on air on May 20.
Dhawan, who has been quite vocal about his foray into hosting, said, "Dhawan Karenge seeks to blend the best of cinema, sports, spirituality, and business in an exciting and engaging manner."
"I am really looking forward to this initiative and I will make sure that I give it my best, making the talk show as endearing and energetic as the cricket fans love me for.
It's not just about entertainment; it's about connecting with my audience on a personal level, to show them the unseen side and make people connect with me in a real manner," he added.The guest list for 'Dhawan Karenge' includes Akshay Kumar, Harbhajan Singh, Taapsee Pannu, Bhuvan Bam, and Rishabh Pant, among others, along with some candid talk interspersed with fun game sections.
"Every episode will be a new innings, with a different storyline and atmosphere, which will be eagerly waiting to be shared with our audiences," said the cricketing superstar.
The teaser, that was released on Thursday, was a brief, but interesting look into the format of the show. 'Dhawan Karenge' is also to have a lot of interactive content from lighthearted shayari exchanges to playful re-creations of Dhawan's famous pose. Conceptualized and created by One Digital Entertainment, 'Dhawan Karenge' will be available exclusively on JioCinema Premium.
