In a fantastic thriller, the Rajasthan Royal (RR) conquered Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 61 runs. It was an amazing match for RR in both batting as well as bowling. But not so amazing for SRH. Here are key highlights of the game:

1. SRH won the toss and elected to bowl first against RR.

2. It did not look like a good start of the season for SRH. RR lost the wicket of Jos Buttler in the first over of Bhuvneshwar Kumar but it was declared a no ball. Then Buttler played aggressively in the powerplay.

3. The run rate of RR was more than 9 runs per over throughout the first innings.

4. RR skipper Sanju Samson played an aggressive knock and made 55 runs off just 27 deliveries, Devdutt Padikal made 41 runs off 29 deliveries and Shimron Hetmyer played a fabulous cameo and made 32 runs off just 14 deliveries.

5. For SRH, Umran Malik took 2/39 in his 4 overs and T Natarajan took 2/43 in his 4 overs. 22 year pacer Umran Malik started with 150 kmph delivery in the first over

6. Replying to RR, SRH lost their captain Kane Williamson's wicket in 3rd over. In batting powerplay SRH made 14/3 which were tied the lowest score made in powerplay by any team in the IPL history.

7. For SRH, Aiden Markram made 57 runs off 41 deliveries and Washington Sundar played a cameo of 40 runs off just 14 deliveries.

8. For RR, Yuzvendra Chahal took 3/22 in his 4 overs, Prasidh Krishna took 2/16 in his 4 overs and Trent Boult took 2/23 in his 4 overs.

9. Sanju Samson was declared  player of the match.

10. The poster of legendary Shane Warne was seen in the RR crowd in which "Forever the First Royal" written. It was one of the special moments of the match.
