In the wake of an exciting end to the fourth Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar series, which was drawn in a cliff-hanger, the Indian Men's Cricket Team formally called on the Indian High Commission in London on Tuesday.

The event was a time of gratitude and reflection, as the players and coaching team sat down with diplomats and officials to thank them for the consistent support that they've enjoyed throughout their tour of the United Kingdom.

Speaking to those present, Head Coach Gautam Gambhir talked of the historical legacy of India-England cricketing tradition and of rivalry that still grips spectators in its grasp.
 

"Traveling in this region of the world has always been thrilling and demanding due to the history between the two nations, which can never be erased," Gambhir said. "We have valued every ounce of assistance we have gotten every time we have traveled in the UK."
