The new left-arm wrist-spinner in the country, Kuldeep Yadav, who suffered hernia and cannot be considered for selection due to his surgery, the other player, Axar Patel was personally called upon and could not take the trip. With regards to overseas conditions and maintaining the balance of the side, the selectors preferred to go with Kotian.
