Cricketer Virat Kohli and his actress wife Anushka Sharma visited the ashram of Swami Premanand in Vrindavan's Ramanreti area on Friday to seek his blessings.

Anushka's family are long-time devotees of Swami Premanand, and they had visited ashram several times earlier, carrying Kohli, too, on more than one instances.

In the video, Swami Premanand is heard giving them his blessings and advised them to maintain their discipline of practice and told them that success is guaranteed if the efforts are persistent. He also highlighted that in whatever effort, there are two essential factors for the successful accomplishment of that activity – persistent practice and auspicious destiny (prarabdh).

He praised the couple's influence, saying that whereas he can bring happiness to a few through his religious activities, they can bring joy to the whole nation through their actions. This, he said is a form of service as it reaches every child in the country.
