While Faf du Plessis, the team captain, and West Indies paceman Alzarri Joseph were present, Kohli, India's cricketing sensation, is yet to fully integrate after his paternity break, which saw him miss out on the England Test series.

According to a BCCI source familiar with the IPL team activities, Kohli's arrival is anticipated within a few days.
