The other day, Prime Minister Modi called the Indian Cricket Team to congratulate them on their victory. He praised Rohit Sharma for great leadership and acknowledged his T20 illustrious career. Modi further acknowledged that Kohli batted crucially through the final game and took cognizance of his valuable contributions toward Indian cricket.

Earlier, Prime Minister Modi led his cabinet colleagues to cheer for Rohit Sharma's Indian team as it defeated South Africa in a thriller to win the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 on Saturday.
