Player Auction List Unveiled for Women’s Premier League 2024

The highly anticipated second edition of the Women’s Premier League Player Auction has unveiled its list, featuring a robust lineup of 165 cricketers slated to be auctioned off on December 9, 2023.

This extensive roster comprises 104 Indian players and 61 overseas talents, with 15 hailing from associate nations. Among these athletes, 56 fall under the capped category, while the remaining 109 are uncapped players.

The auction offers a total of 30 slots across five teams, earmarking 9 spots specifically for overseas players. Notably, the highest reserve price stands at INR 50 Lakhs, featuring two prominent players, Deandra Dottin and Kim Garth, opting for placement in this top bracket, as highlighted in a statement released by the BCCI.

Additionally, four players have entered the auction list with a base price of INR 40 lakh, adding to the excitement and competitive spirit surrounding this edition of the Women’s Premier League Player Auction.
