However, Cricket Australia has yet to finalize the Test series schedule, and the official announcement is not expected until the end of the month, as per the report.

Perth has proven to be a stronghold for Australia, where they have never lost a Test match, boasting victories like the 164-run triumph over the West Indies in 2022 and a dominant 360-run win against Pakistan in 2024. Notably, Australia also secured a victory against India in the second Test back in 2018, winning the series 2-1 before succumbing to a 1-2 defeat in the four-match series.

In recent Test encounters between the two cricketing giants, India has emerged as the dominant force, clinching victories consistently. This includes consecutive series wins in Australia during 2018-19 and 2020-21, both with identical 2-1 margins.

The 2021 tour of Australia saw India bounce back resiliently after a dismal start in Adelaide, where they were dismissed for a record-low of 36 runs, resulting in an eight-wicket defeat. However, they regrouped to level the series at Melbourne, displayed grit to draw the Sydney Test, and then scripted a historic three-wicket win in Brisbane, sealing the series 2-1.
