It will be so when women's wrestling in India achieves its defining moment, with Vinesh Phogat targeting a breakthrough win after making it to the 50 kg freestyle final in the Olympic Games. Phogat, the first-ever Indian woman wrestler to enter an Olympic final, faces America's Sarah Ann Hilderbrandt at 21:45 IST on Mat B at the Champ-de-Mars Arena.
Furthermore, the Indian women's table tennis team will also look to replicate Phogat's exploits as it faces Germany in its quarterfinal match later. Also featuring in action will be wrestler Antim Panghal, golfers Aditi Ashok and Disha Dagar, and weightlifting contender Mirabai Chanu.
The task will then be left to the table tennis trio of Manika Batra, Sreeja Akula, and Archana Kamath playing the higher-ranked Germany team at 13:30 IST for a last four berth.
Golfer Aditi Ashok, who just missed the bronze in Tokyo and Diksha Dagar, will begin their challenges in Women's Individual Stroke Play Round 1 at 12:30 IST.

The men's 3000m Steeplechase final will be the highlight of the day in athletics action, where Avinash Sable will contest for a medal at 01:13 IST on Thursday.
In the evening, Mirabai Chanu, Tokyo 2020 bronze medalist, will be in action in the women's 49 kg weightlifting, aiming for another podium finish.
