Australia confirm XI to feature in first Test against West Indies

There are no major surprises in the final XI for the first home Test of the Australian summer, with Cummins confirming one change to the team that featured in the most recent Test match in Sri Lanka. Experienced seamer Josh Hazlewood returns to Australia's line-up, with back-up spinner Mitchell Swepson making way following Australia's demoralising loss to Sri Lanka in Galle in July. Swepson picked up figures of 3/103 in that match, but the 29-year-old was not selected in the squad for the West Indies series as Australia reverted to their standard line-up with three seamers and the solitary spinner.

They will now meet Saurashtra in the semifinal, who entered the last four stage on te back of Chirag Jani's all-round performance toppling Tamil Nadu by 44 runs at the GS Patel Stadium in Nadiad on Monday. With the wins in quarterfinals, Karnataka and Saurashtra will now meet in the semifinals, touted to be a clash of the heavy-weights. For Punjab, opener and all-rounder Abhishek Sharma hit a brilliant century, a 123-ball 109, laced with 12 fours and two sixes.
Tiger Woods returns to action at World Challenge

Only Woods, the host is specially 'exempt' at 1277, not having played since the Open and only three events for a total of nine rounds - four at the Masters, three at PGA before withdrawing and two at the Open before missing the cut at St Andrews.

In an action-packed game, a thumping header from Punjab defender Deepak Devrani in the second half proved to be the deciding factor after a first-half penalty by Luka Majcen was cancelled out by R Lalthanmawia's tap-in. Aizawl's captain Lalchhawnkima missed a penalty in the final minutes of the game as the hosts walked off with full points.

The Titans haven't had the best of seasons and they couldn't find a way to get going in this game either. FIFA World Cup: Kudus scores twice as Ghana beat South Korea 3-2 in a pulsating game

Mohammed Salisu and Kudus had combined to give Ghana a first-half lead, but two quick second-half headers from Cho Gue-sung looked to have snatched a point for South Korea in the Group H clash. South Korea had all the early pressure, forcing seven corners in the first 20 minutes, but it was Mohammed Salisu who gave Ghana the lead against Paulo Bento's side.

Pardeep Narwal picked up a few touch points as the U.P. Yoddhas took the lead at 5-3 in the 5th minute. However, the Warriors pulled off a SUPER TACKLE and levelled the scores at 5-5. Moments later, Ashish Sangwan tackled Rohit Tomar as the Warriors held the lead at 7-6 in the 9th minute. However, Vinod Kumar missed a raid as the Yoddhas levelled the scores at 8-8.
