The recent success, as regards the selling of the Rights of Women's IPL cricket tournament, truly reflects the progress that has been made by both the BCCI and cricket as a sport, in India. The game of cricket is the true benefactor, as it smells as sweet when played by either men or women.

The second round of the meeting is scheduled for Friday morning at 8 a.m. IANS has learnt that the wrestlers were adamant for the sacking of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. The wrestlers will continue their protest at Jantar Mantar on Friday if the next meeting with the Sports Minister doesn't materialise.

Midfielder Shamsher Singh (22'), Akashdeep Singh (33', 46') and Indian captain Harmanpreet Singh (60') scored the goals for India while Gareth Furlong (43') and Jacob Draper (45') netted for World Cup debutants Wales. India will now play New Zealand, who came third in Pool C, for a place in the quarter-finals in the crossovers.
