India register a solid win over Qatar in U-17 Friendly
India have qualified for the AFC U-17 Asian Cup final rounds to be held later this year and these matches were held as part of the preparations for the tournament. Qatar, who had won the first friendly 3-1 on Saturday, were put on the back foot from the get-go by India. 2023 AFC Asian Cup to kick off in January next year
The QFA also announced the establishment of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the AFC Asian Cup, and its president Ahmed Al-Thani was named as the chairman of the LOC. In October 2022, Qatar was awarded by AFC to host the tournament, which has 24 participating teams.
