Australia on top as India lose Rishabh Pant, Cheteshwar Pujara in 2nd session

Resuming the post-Lunch session at 206/3, Pant and Pujara batted just like they did in the first two hours of the day, collecting runs at a brisk pace. Pant took chances and scored boundaries and gave a huge scare to the Australian team before he got out just three short of what would have been a well-deserved century.
Kenya to bid for 2025 World Athletics Championships

Jackson Tuwei, president of Athletics Kenya (AK), said Kenya, buoyed by the success of hosting the World Under-18 World Athletics Championships in 2017 in Nairobi, has shown its intention of placing a bid for the senior version of the athletics championships and will also be hosting the postponed World Under-20, from August 17-22 in Nairobi as stepping stone to the senior event.

India need 201 more runs in 62 overs to win this Test. The wicketkeeper-batsman Pant was undefeated on 73 off 97 deliveries with three sixes and eight fours as he added an unbeaten 104 for the fourth wicket with Cheteshwar Pujara (batting 41) in 34.2 overs in the first session.

Clayvin Bernardez's hattrick and Luka Majcen's brace led Churchill Brothers to a hard-fought win over the Arrows in a see-saw match. Churchill Brothers got right into the thick of the action and took the lead in the second minute itself.
ISL: 10-man Kerala Blasters beat Jamshedpur 3-2

Costa Nhamoinesu gave Kerala the lead in the 22nd minute but his opener was neutralised by Nerijus Valskis in the 36th minute. Jordan Murray then scored a brace in the 79th and 82nd minute which gave Kerala a two-goal lead despite Lalruatthara receiving a red card in the 67th minute. Valskis scored in the 84th minute but Kerala held on for the rest of regulation time and six added minutes to secure the win.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) said in its statement that Paine was found to have breached Article 2.8 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to "showing dissent at an umpire's decision during an International Match".
